All Vampires are invited to a special "Back to the Clubrooms" as we join the fight against MND, an insidious disease with no cure.

This years' Big Freeze 12 takes on a special meaning with the recent passing of Australian icon, Neale Daniher and the public announcements from NRL gun, Jai Farrow and Bryan Cousins (father of AFL great Ben) both sharing they have MND.

Of course many thousands of Australians live with this disease, and the only way to fight, is to raise the dollars needed to fund the critical research by our world class scientists and researchers. First step - join us next week with details as follows:

How do we raise money you ask? Well, all teams are encouraged to join in the ice bucket challenge by raising at least $50 for you to throw an ice bucket over your "favourite" person. This may be your Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager for another much loved team official. Get in touch with your Team Manager for further details. We already have several victims, no, brave volunteers ready to risk a brisk Melbourne evening for a great cause.

But wait, there's more. As a Club, if we raise $2000 our President, Michael Brrrrreresford will sit in an ice bath for 2 minutes. For every $250 over $2000 he will add another minute (up to six minutes - we don't want to have to de-frost him afterwards).
